United vs Brisbane Roar Live. ADELAIDE
Young trainer Marco Kurz fears an ambush by Brisbane Roar at Coopers Stadium on Saturday. Much of the attention
in recent weeks has been due to the shocking trauma of Ron, who has contributed
to the only two of his 12 Brisbane games this season.
Fans of French star forward Eric Baueka (femoral biceps),
Brett Holman store (calf), defenders Jade North (groin) and Daniel Bowles
(hamstring), linebacker Joe butt (leg) and Ivan Frandzhich utility (ATV)
were injured in the time that former Greek international Abraham Papadopoulos
remains suspended.
Adelaide,
who defeated the roaring 2-1 at Suncorp Stadium in the second round, will start
as the heavy favorites in her homeland.
However, Kurz will not let his players get into the trap
of underestimating the Brisbane side, which featured Italian shooter Massimo
Maccarone, who scored six goals this season, including three in the last four
Brisbane games.
"We are wrong when we talk about injuries to
Brisbane," said Kurz.
"It's very important to talk about the strengths of this team, they lost games, but very close games.
"It's very important to talk about the strengths of this team, they lost games, but very close games.
"It's a good
team". At
Maccarone they have a very good forward, and for us it is very important to
focus on this game tomorrow.
"If we make a mistake, we believe that this is a
simple game, of what we lost."
Roaring
coach John Aloisi also chose to focus on players who had been available,
including teen prodigy Rahmat Akbari, not the ones on the sidelines.
The offensive midfielder Akbari - the opportunity to
start his first start of the current A-Lee today as a substitute for the
injured Nick D'Agostino (ankle).
"I
want to see the positive and see the players who will play," said Aloisi. "We
have options, although we have enough players, I still believe in the attacking
players we have."
Aloisi
urged Akbari to "play without fear and have confidence".
"In training, he is not afraid to meet with
experienced professionals who have played at the highest level", - said
the coach roared to light in Afghanistan, the Australians and 17 years.
"The other day (in training) that was against
Papadopoulos and he took it, he held a good position, and that's all he has to
do.
"You do not need to be afraid, you have experienced
players around you who can help you with this."
Aloisi
said Table A-League "is not" in the form of Brisbane, in the season,
but did not see that data point in a roar sits second from the bottom.
"If you look at the ladder, and you will start to
get nervous about this, it will only make the players a little nervous," -
he said.
"We know we're not where we want to be, but we still
believe we're going to get where we want it to be in the final."
